New York Liberty News Release
The Liberty wraps up its longest road trip of the season tonight against the Shock. Tune into MSG to see New York face Detroit, in a 7:30PM match-up.
New York has gone 1-2 through the first three games of its four-game road trip with the conclusion tonight at The Palace. After starting the season 5-0, Detroit handed New York its first loss of the season back on June 8th in the only other meeting between the teams this season.
After 2 weeks on the road, the Liberty make its return to Madison Square Garden to square off against the Western Conference leading Sacramento Monarchs in a 4:00PM match-up on Sunday, July 8th. WNBA legends Yolanda Griffith and the WNBA career assists leader Ticha Penicheiro travel to New York for their only visit of the 2007 regular season. New York looks for revenge after falling in Sacramento 59-46 on June 26th in the first game of the extended road-trip.
