Liberty Announces 2010 Pre-Season Line-Up

The New York Liberty will tip off the 2010 WNBA pre-season with matinee match-ups against two Eastern Conference rivals, it was announced today.

The Liberty will visit our nation's capitol on Wednesday, May 5 at 11:30 a.m. to face off against the Washington Mystics at the Verizon Center. On Tuesday, May 11, Madison Square Garden will host the Liberty's fifth annual "School Day" game against the Connecticut Sun, beginning at 11 a.m.

The "School Day" game offers schools and community groups from the New York tri-state area with the opportunity to bring its students to an educational and affordable outing at "The World's Most Famous Arena." New York, led by Hall of Fame Head Coach Anne Donovan, will open its 14th season against the Chicago Sky on The Garden floor at 4 p.m. on Sunday, May 16.
