Lehigh Valley IronPigs News Release
The IronPigs (6-16) embark on a six-day, West Division road trip and play Game 1 of a three-game series against the first-place Indianapolis Indians (12-10) at Victory Field... With a 4-2 win yesterday, the Pigs snapped a three-game slide and avoided being swept in a four-game home series by Durham. Still, the Pigs finished just 2-6 on homestand and have dropped 12 of their last 15 contests after starting 3-4... The Indians -- Pittsburgh's top affiliate -- lost 6-2 to Louisville yesterday for a split of a two-game, home series. Still, the Indians are 7-3 in their last 10 affairs after beginning 5-7, starting with a season-high, four-game winning streak from April 22-25.
RHP Phillippe Aumont (1-0, 1.06) will start for LHV against RHP Adrian Sampson (0-3, 3.22).
First Pitch is at 7:15 p.m.
