
LHP Kyle Bird Transferred to AAA Durham; C David Rodriguez to Biscuits from A+ Charlotte

MONTGOMERY, Ala. - The Rays have announced that LHP Kyle Bird has been transferred from the Biscuits to AAA Durham.
Bird, 25, was 0-2 with a 3.66 ERA in 15 relief appearances and one start for Montgomery, and will head to Triple-A for the third time in his career.
The Rays also announced that C David Rodriguez has been transferred to the Biscuits from A+ Charlotte. Rodriguez, 22, was hitting .317 with two home runs and 20 RBIs in 28 games for the Stone Crabs this season.
The Biscuits active roster is currently at 25.
