Laredo, TX - The league leader in batting average, Tim Alberts drove in the winning run off relief pitcher Chaz Roe (0-2) in the top of the ninth to help the Amarillo Sox (12-8) squeak by the Laredo Lemurs (8-10) 5-4 in the first of a four game series at Uni-Trade Stadium.

The Lemurs started off the game with two runs in the bottom of the first to set the tone.

They would hold that lead till the top of the fourth when the Sox would post a run, starting with a triple by Matthew Tucker, followed by a Mitch Abieta RBI single to drive in Tucker, and bring the score to 2-1 Lemurs.
