LEHIGH VALLEY IRONPIGS GAME NOTES 4-4-19

TONIGHT'S OPENER: The IronPigs begin the 12th season in franchise history with Game 1 of a four-game, weekend series at the friendly confines of CocaCola Park. For the first time in team history, the Pigs begin with the Red Wings. The IronPigs are 101-87 all-time against their North Division foes. Lehigh Valley, which seeks its first Governors' Cup title in franchise history, won the North Division title last season and has reached the IL postseason four times overall. The Red Wings -- Minnesota's top affiliate -- finished in fourth place in the North Division in 2018. Following this season-opening series, the Pigs will welcome in their North Division rivals, Scranton/Wilkes-Barre, for a three-game series that's set to begin on Monday night...First pitch tonight is at 7:05 p.m.

*NOTE: Lehigh Valley is 55-38 all-time against the Red Wings at Coca-Cola Park.
