Birmingham Legion FC News Release
BIRMINGHAM, AL - Tonight's Birmingham Legion FC match against Atlanta United 2 has been cancelled. Lightning in the area and then continued rainfall, leading to unplayable field conditions, caused the match to be abandoned in the 45th minute.
An announcement regarding the rescheduled date for the game will be made after USL Championship, Legion FC, and Atlanta United 2 officials can coordinate a new date and time. All tickets purchased for tonight will be honored at the rescheduled date, and the game will be played, in full, starting from the 1' minute with the score 0-0.
Legion FC's next match is this Saturday, July 3rd, at 6:00PM Central in Indianapolis versus Indy Eleven. Tune in to watch the match on My68 or ESPN+. The team returns to BBVA Field on Saturday, July 10th, at 6:30PM against our rivals, Memphis 901 FC. Get your tickets HERE.
