
San Antonio FC to Host Independence Day Weekend Celebration with Postgame Fireworks on Saturday

SAN ANTONIO - San Antonio FC will celebrate Independence Day Weekend this Saturday, July 3 at 7:30 p.m. when SAFC hosts rivals Austin Bold FC at Toyota Field. A postgame fireworks show will occur after the match, and Toyota Field will be open to full capacity for the first time since March of 2020.
Tickets for the weekend celebration on July 3 are available now and can be purchased by calling or texting 210-444-5657 or by visiting SanAntonioFC.com. In addition, an exclusive Independence Day line of San Antonio FC merchandise will be available at The Soccer Factory kiosks at Toyota Field on game-day and in-store as well as SAFCfanshop.com now.
Additionally, Saturday's match is also a $1 dollar beer night presented by Michelob Ultra, with $1 Bud Lights available throughout the venue. The La Gloria margarita truck will offer red, white and blue margaritas, while the La Gloria food special will be a corn chip pie. Along with the Toyota Field staples, the new Off the Pitch Pub will open behind section 127 while the new Ricos Game Ready Nacho Bar will open behind sections 121 and 122.
After starting the season at limited capacity, Saturday's game marks the first full capacity event for Toyota Field for over a year. Pregame tailgating is once again open to the public, and masks are not required but are strongly encouraged for non-vaccinated fans. Following Saturday's match, San Antonio FC will host the SAFC International Showcase at Toyota Field with three matches in seven days. Firstly, SAFC will host Querétaro FC on Tuesday, July 6 before hosting Pumas UNAM on Friday, July 9. Querétaro and Pumas will then face each other to wrap up the showcase on Monday, July 12. All matches will kick-off at 7:30 p.m.
