
Legends First Game to be Broadcast on National Television

Frisco, TX (November 2, 2010) - The NBA Development League's newest team, the Texas Legends, announced Tuesday that their regular season opener against the Rio Grande Valley has been moved up to Thursday, November 18 at 7:00 p.m. at State Farm Arena in Rio Grande and will be broadcast live on VERSUS.
The game on November 18 represents the first game for Head Coach Nancy Lieberman as she becomes the first female head coach in the NBA or NBA D-League. November 18 also marks the first opportunity to watch the Legends four former first round NBA draft picks - Antonio Daniels, Sean Williams, Rashad McCants, and Reece Gaines.
The Legends will also play the Tulsa 66ers on VERSUS on February 5, and the Austin Toros on VERSUS on March 12.
