Legends Announce Opening Night Roster

November 13, 2014 - NBA G League (G League) - Texas Legends News Release

FRISCO, TX, (Nov. 13, 2014) - The Texas Legends have announced the final roster for opening night Nov. 14. The team waived three players from the training camp roster in order to meet the NBA Development League mandate of 10 players.

The team has waived the following players: center CJ Giles, forward Luis Jacobo and guard DeShone McClure.

The roster consists of four returning players, four affiliates, two tryout players and three trade acquisitions. Five members of the roster have experience in the NBA regular season totaling 837 games, and two are former first round picks in the NBA Draft. The Legends also had the third GATORADE Call-Up of the season with Ish Smith signing with the Oklahoma City Thunder. Japanese guard Yuki Togashi is expected to join the team in the first few weeks of the season. The official opening night roster is below.
