Legends Announce 2013-14 Schedule

FRISCO, Texas, (Sep. 5, 2013) - The Texas Legends will open the 2013-14 NBA Development League with a two-game homestand hosting the Fort Wayne Mad Ants Friday, November 22 and Saturday, November 23. November concludes with a final home matchup against the Tulsa 66ers Saturday, November 30 before heading to McAllen, TX to take on the Rio Grande Valley Vipers Monday, December 2.

The Legends have a schedule of 50 games throughout the 2013-14 season hosting 24 at home, hitting the road for 24 and traveling to Reno, NV for two games in the NBA D-League Showcase. The Legends will remain in the Central Division of the D-League alongside the Austin Toros, Rio Grande Valley Vipers, Tulsa 66ers, Iowa Energy, and Sioux Falls Skyforce. The League has added a 17th team that will be part of the East Division, the Delaware 87ers.

The Legends' longest home stretch is 5 games from Feb. 26 to Mar. 6 hosting Tulsa (26th), Los Angeles (27th, 1st), Bakersfield (5th), and Iowa (6th). The longest road streak will begin Dec. 20 in Erie (20th, 21st), head to Idaho (27th, 28th) then on to Austin (3rd, 4th) before finishing up at the Showcase in Reno Jan. 6-9.

The Legends will play 19 back-to-back series, seven with the same opponent both nights and eight being homestands.
