Skyforce Announces 2013-14 Schedule

Sioux Falls, S.D. (Sept. 5, 2013) - The Sioux Falls Skyforce tips off its 25th season, and first at the brand-new Sanford Pentagon, on Friday, Nov. 22 at 7 p.m. against the Reno Bighorns.
Sioux Falls will play 18 of its 24 home games on Friday or Saturday and will host Iowa in the annual Christmas Night game. Fans will see 13 different visiting teams play on Heritage Court.
"With the new home venue and new partnership with the Miami HEAT, our 25th Anniversary season has a chance to be one of the most exciting seasons ever," said owner/president Mike Heineman.
The Reno Bighorns will once again host the NBA D-League Showcase from Jan. 5-9 in Reno, Nev. with the specific game schedule to be announced at a later date, while the NBA D-League All-Star Game is scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 15 in New Orleans, La. in conjunction with NBA All-Star activities.
The 2013-14 NBA D-League season will feature three divisions: West (Bakersfield Jam, Idaho Stampede, Los Angeles D-Fenders, Reno Bighorns, Santa Cruz Warriors), Central (Austin Toros, Iowa Energy, Rio Grande Valley Vipers, Sioux Falls Skyforce, Texas Legends, Tulsa 66ers) and East (Canton Charge, Delaware 87ers, Erie BayHawks, Fort Wayne Mad Ants, Maine Red Claws, Springfield Armor).
Season tickets for the 2013-14 season are on sale. The Skyforce will play home games at the brand-new Sanford Pentagon (sanfordpentagon.com) following 24 seasons at the Sioux Falls Arena. For more information, please contact a Skyforce representative at (605) 332-0605.
