
Legends Acquire Erik Stevenson

FRISCO, TX - The Texas Legends have acquired guard Erik Stevenson and the returning player rights to Jai Smith in a trade with the Austin Spurs. In exchange, Texas sends a 1st round pick (via Maine) and their own 2nd round pick in the 2024 G League Draft.
Stevenson (6-4, 205, West Virginia) played 38 games (16 starts) for the Spurs this season averaging 9.8 points, 3.8 rebounds, and 2.7 assists. The Lacey, Washington native played six games for San Antonio in the 2023 NBA Summer League averaging 8.2 points, 2.7 rebounds, and 2.0 assists in 19.6 minutes and was allocated to Austin as an affiliate player. Stevenson played his final collegiate season with the Mountaineers averaging 15.4 points, 3.4 rebounds, 2.5 assists, and 1.1 steals and earning Big 12 Player and Newcomer of the Week awards as well as All-Big 12 Third Team.
