Left Wing Justin Keller Reassigned to Augusta

AUGUSTA, Ga..− The Augusta Lynx have announced that the Tampa Bay Lightning of the NHL have reassigned left wing Justin Keller from the Norfolk Admirals of the AHL to Augusta.

"Justin's a good player, and a fast skater who is really going to help out our hockey team," Lynx Head Coach and Director of Hockey Operations John Marks said. "We're excited about having him, and he'll definitely get an opportunity to play."

Keller, 22, was the Admirals' lone representative in the AHL All-Star game last season, as he notched 37 points (15 goals, 22 assists) and 45 penalty minutes in 70 regular-season games last season. Keller, a 5-foot-11, 186-pounder from Nelson, British Columbia, has 72 points (28 goals, 34 assists) and 71 penalty minutes in 132 regular-season AHL games with Norfolk and Springfield from the 2006-07 season through 2008-09.

Keller was originally selected 245th overall by the Tampa Bay Lightning in the 8th round of the 2004 NHL Entry Draft.

The Lynx return to the James Brown Arena on Friday, Nov. 7th to take on the Charlotte Checkers at 7:30 p.m. for Support the Troops and NASCAR Night. Showcars from Jeff Gordon and Dale Earnhardt, Sr. will be on hand. Pipeline Clothing will also be at the Arena representing Carhartt clothing.
