Blades see changes to roster

ESTERO, FL - Florida Everblades president and general manager Craig Brush along with head coach Malcolm Cameron announced that defenseman James DeLory has been assigned to the team by the Florida Panthers of the National Hockey League and that forwards Riley Emmerson and Jacob Micflikier have been called up to the AHL.

DeLory joins the Everblades after attending training camp with the Rochester Americans. The 20-year-old has yet to make his professional debut after suffering an injury during training camp. DeLory, who stands 6-foot-5, completed a four-year junior career with the Oshawa Generals of the Ontario Hockey League in 2007-08. The Scarborough, Ontario native scored 22 points (2g, 20a) and 154 penalty minutes in 54 games with the Generals last season. Overall, DeLory registered 84 points (13g, 71a) and 539 PIM in 243 career OHL games.

Emmerson was recalled by Houston late yesterday, then loaded to the Rochester Americans of the AHL. The 22-year-old has played in one game with the Everblades this season and did not register any points. Micflikier heads to Rochester as well after skating in both Everblades games this past weekend during which he registered two assists.
