HUNTSVILLE, AL - Huntsville Havoc head coach Glenn Detulleo announced today that forward Lindsay LeBlanc has been signed to a tryout agreement from the free agent camp that the team hosted in Ames, Iowa over the weekend.
"Lindsay had a great weekend in Ames to earn his invite to our main camp," Detulleo said. "He displayed a very good mix of skill and grit that we felt has the potential to translate to the SPHL. I look forward to seeing Lindsay in October compete to make our opening night roster."
LeBlanc (5-9, 160) just finished his college career playing non-varsity hockey at Liberty University where he scored 69 goals and recorded 117 assists in just 69 games. The Edmonton, Alberta native also played in 148 junior games where he scored 17 goals and recorded 26 assists.
"I would like to thank Coach Glenn Detulleo and the Huntsville Havoc for giving me the opportunity to come to camp and earn a spot with the Havoc," LeBlanc said. "I can't wait to get to Huntsville and get to work."
The Havoc open the season on the road on October 23rd at Columbus. The home opener on Pharmacy First Ice will be November 10th against Knoxville.
