Late Rally Sinks Lookouts

As they have done over th past six days, the Smokies pull ou a 5-3 win with a late rally in the seventh inning. The lookouts grabbed a 2-1 lead in the third but it was short lived as the Smokies added two of their ow. After tying the game on back to back doubles, Jaylin Davis and Mitchell Kranson, hit those in the fourth. Omar Bencomo stayed strong until the pitch count forced his departure after the sixth. Ryan Eades would give up two runs in the seventh and Smokies pitching shut the door allowing just one hit over the next three innings. Wednesday on the 4th of July, the lookouts face the Birmingham Barons as Sean Poppen vs Jimmy Lambert in the 6:15 game. Air time on 96.1 and at MiLB.com
