
Late Mooseheads Goal Edges them to a 3-2 Victory

The Halifax Mooseheads scored a power play goal with under six minutes remaining and held on for a 3-2 victory over the Wildcats, Thursday at Scotiabank Centre.
Francis Langlois and Maxim Barbashev has the Moncton goals.
The game remained scoreless until Halifax found the net nearly five minutes into the second period. Langlois responded just 52 seconds later.
Etienne Morin fired a shot from the left point that deflected to Langlois off the right side of the crease. The third-year winger deposited the puck into an open net to tie the game at 1-1.
The Mooseheads regained the lead with 26.2 seconds to go in the second period and carried a 2-1 advantage into the third.
Barbashev evened the score again with eight minutes left in the third, rifling a wrist shot off the right post and in.
But the home side got the eventual game winner on a power play with under six minutes left. Goalie Thomas Couture was named second star with 30 saves in a losing cause.
