Cole Bassett, Michael Barrios and Lucas Esteves scored to earn the Colorado Rapids (14-5-9, 51 points) a comeback 3-1 win over Minnesota United FC (11-8-10, 41 points) and complete a season sweep of the Loons on Sunday afternoon at Allianz Field. After trailing by a goal and being reduced to ten men following a Danny Wilson red card, Michael Barrios was awarded a penalty kick in the 70th minute. Homegrown player Cole Bassett drove the kick home to even the score, and Barrios secured a goal of his own in the 84th minute to put the Rapids ahead. Lucas Esteves extended the lead in extra time with his first Rapids goal.
Sunday's victory marked Drew Moor's 400th career appearance. He is the eighth player in the league to reach the milestone. The win also marks a post-shootout era record with seven road wins for the Rapids.
