Colorado Rapids News Release
Since being drafted by FC Dallas in 2005, central defender Drew Moor has been a constant force in the MLS for the past 16 seasons.
Moor joined the Colorado Rapids in August 2009. He left the club to play for Toronto FC during the 2016-2019 seasons before returning to Colorado.
And today, he reached a feat that just seven players have before in Major League Soccer - 400 career appearances.
Moor is now only one of three active players to achieve this impressive milestone.
Midfielder Dax McCarty (Nashville SC) and forward Chris Wondolowski (San Jose) both earned their 400th appearances earlier this season.
After over a decade in MLS, Moor appeared in his 400th match today against Minnesota United, subbing on in the 85th minute of the 3-1 victory to mark the historic moment.
Moor, a Dallas, Texas native has started in 369 of his 400 appearances, scoring 28 goals. He is the sixth field player to reach the 400 club, joining Wondolowski and McCarty as well as retired players Kyle Beckerman, Jeff Larentowicz, and Chad Marshall. Former goalkeepers Kevin Hartman and Nick Rimando also surpassed the mark during their careers.
