About Last Night...

The Grizzlies let a late 3-run lead slip away after Tucson scored three times in the bottom of the 8th before Connor Jackson's walk-off home run gave the Sidewinders a 7-6 win and a season-series split with the Grizzlies. RHP Jeremy Fikac (3-5) suffered the loss in relief allowing the 1 out HR to Jackson. 1B Michael Cervenak was 3-5 with 1 HR and 2 RBI to lead Fresno's offense.

Roster Moves...

The Giants optioned OF Todd Linden to Fresno. The Giants reactivated P LaTroy Hawkins from a rehab assignment in Fresno. C Brent Swanson went on the disabled list with a strained neck.

Returning Home...

The Grizzlies finished up their season-high 12-game road trip. In a trip that saw extreme highs and extreme lows, the Grizzlies finished 6 and 6 in the 12 games and return home 1 game below .500 and in second place 5.5 games back of first place Sacramento.

Linden Returns...

Todd Linden returns to the Grizzlies after hitting .172 10-52 with 2 HR and 7 RBI in 17 games with the Giants. Linden is still atop the PCL in most offensive categories including a tie for the lead in home runs (19).

Tonight's Starting Pitcher...

RHP Brian Cooper (4-6) will make his 13th start and 21st overall appearance tonight for Fresno. Copper last started on 6/7 at Las Vegas receiving a no-decision allowing 4 R on 7 H in 3.2 IP in a 10-8 Grizzlies win. Cooper went to the bullpen after that start due to RHP Kevin Correia entering the rotation. Cooper moves back to the rotation with Correia's promotion to SF.
