Las Vegas' Peter Ferraro Suspended For Balance Of Regular Season, Kelly Cup Playoffs

PRINCETON, N.J. - The ECHL announced that Las Vegas right wing Peter Ferraro has been suspended for the remainder of the 2008-09 regular season and the entirety of the Kelly Cup Playoffs as a result of his actions in ECHL Game #765 against Alaska on Mar. 24.

Ferraro is suspended and fined under Rule 29 Supplemental Discipline.

Under the terms of the Collective Bargaining Agreement between the ECHL and the Professional Hockey Players' Association, player fines collected by the ECHL are given to the PHPA for its ECHL Player's Hardship Fund.
