Larson and Kovgoreniya Suspended by WHL

Spokane, Wash. -- Spokane Chiefs players Cordel Larson and Timofey Kovgoreniya have each been suspended by the Western Hockey League following major penalties and game misconducts incurred during the Chiefs' game versus the Tri-City Americans on October 2.

Larson is suspended two games for a charging major and game misconduct. He will be eligible to return on Saturday, October 9 at Tri-City.

Kovgoreniya is suspended four games for a fighting major (one-man fight) and game misconduct. He will be eligible to return Friday, October 15 at Tri-City.

The Spokane Chiefs are a member of the U.S. Division of the Western Hockey League, the world's finest development league for junior hockey players.
