MONTREAL, QC - The Montreal Canadiens announced today that the club has reassigned forward Maxim Lapierre to the Hamilton Bulldogs of the American Hockey League.

Lapierre, 21, was recalled by Montreal on December 11th and appeared in four games with the Canadiens, posting four points (3-1-4) and a plus-5 rating. The 6-foot-2, 197-pound centreman registered his first-career NHL point, an assist, on December 12th versus the Boston Bruins and his first-career NHL goal on December 14th against the Tampa Bay Lightning.

Lapierre will join the Bulldogs in time for tonight's game in Winnipeg, against the Manitoba Moose.
