
Lancers Partner with Ronald McDonald House of Omaha

RALSTON, NE - As part of the organization's ongoing efforts to support and enrich the greater Omaha community, the Omaha Lancers will join residents of Omaha's Ronald McDonald House and their families on Monday and Wednesday for two evenings of food, fun and companionship, the team announced Thursday.
"As an organization, we feel it is of paramount importance to play an active and supportive role in our community," said Lancers Owner, President and Managing Partner Ben Robert on Thursday. "Through our numerous annual philanthropic endeavors and this newfound partnership with the Ronald McDonald House, we want to do everything we can to be a positive influence.We hope we can provide some laughter and fun for these brave families both now and into the future."
Both Monday and Wednesday, Lancers players and staff members will visit the Ronald McDonald House at 620 S 38th Ave. in Omaha to cook dinner for the residents and spend time playing games, horsing around and getting to know some new friends.
As stated on the organization's website, Omaha's Ronald McDonald House, founded in 1994, strives to "Provide for families that bring their sick children to our community for medical care." Omaha's is Nebraska's only Ronald McDonald House and operates primarily thanks to gifts from corporate donors and the general public.
