
Lancers Add Owen Fowler in Deal with Buccaneers for Zakary Karpa

RALSTON, NE - The Omaha Lancers announced a trade deal with the Des Moines Buccaneers this morning. In the deal, the Lancers traded forward Zakary Karpa, and a 2021 Phase I 10th Round draft pick in exchange for forward Owen Fowler, and a 2021 Phase I 6th Round draft pick.
Fowler (02), has appeared in 17 games this season for the Buccaneers and has tallied 2 points on the season (1G, 1A). The Tewksbury, MA native spent last season between Neponset Valley River Ratts 18U AAA (23GP: 11G, 12A), and The Governor's Academy (32 GP: 18G, 18A). Fowler is committed to playing NCAA hockey at UMass Lowell.
The Lancers return to the ice tonight against the Fargo Force. Puck drop is 6:05 PM.
