Seattle Sounders FC News Release

Seattle heads east for the nation's capital for the Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup Final against D.C. United on September 2 at RFK Stadium. The Sounders FC will return to Washington, D.C., to face United when MLS play resumes on September 12.

Coming off consecutive draws, 1-1 at Western Conference leader Houston and 0-0 at home vs. Toronto FC, league play comes to a halt for the Sounders FC (8-6-10, 34 points) and focus is on the team's first Cup Final.
