Los Angeles FC News Release
The Los Angeles Football Club (LAFC) travels cross country to take on the New England Revolution on Saturday, August 3 at Gillette Stadium. Tomorrow's matchup against the Revolution is scheduled for 4:30 p.m. PT and will be broadcast on YouTube TV, UniMás 46, ESPN 710 AM, and 980 AM "La Mera Mera'.
After suffering just its third defeat of the year two weeks ago, LAFC rebounded with a 4-3 victory over Atlanta United FC on July 26. The Club "s four goals by four different players came in a 12-minute stretch which equaled the eighth-fastest such streak by a single team in MLS history.
LAFC is now a perfect 3-0-0 in games following a loss. The Black & Gold are also tied with the Portland Timbers for the most wins away from home - winning six from the first 12 contests of 2019.
Meanwhile, New England extended the longest current unbeaten streak in MLS to 11 games after defeating Orlando City 4-1 on July 27. The Eastern Conference side has not lost a match since May 8, while posting a 7-0-4 record along the way. At Gillette Stadium, Bruce Arena's men have won six of 12 and have not been defeated in Foxborough since April 24.
Last season, LAFC registered one of its seven home ties against the Revolution - a 1-1 draw on September 15 at Banc of California Stadium. Tomorrow's matchup will be the Club's first-ever trip to New England and ninth contest against Eastern Conference teams this season. LAFC currently has a record of 5-0-3 against the East - including a 2-0-1 record away from home.
