
LAFC Loses 3-1 to Chicago Fire

The Los Angeles Football Club (LAFC) fell 3-1 to the Chicago Fire at Toyota Park on Saturday afternoon. The Fire headed into halftime with a 2-0 lead after a 20th minute goal by Djordje Mihailovic and a 29th minute penalty kick goal by Nemanja Nikolic. Chicago added a third in the 66th minute by Aleksandar Katai before LAFC forward Diego Rossi scored for the Black & Gold in the 73rd minute. Midfielder Lee Nguyen logged the assist.
After 30 matches, LAFC currently sits in third place in the Western Conference with a 14-8-8 (50 points) record. The Club returns to action next Saturday, October 6 against the Colorado Rapids. Kickoff at Dick's Sporting Goods Park is scheduled for 6:00 p.m. PT on YouTube TV, UniMás KFTR 46, ESPN LA 710 and KFWB 980.
