"We are excited to celebrate this important milestone of opening our 16th futsal court in Southern California," said LAFC Co-President & CBO Larry Freedman. "We are proud of the impact we have made in the community alongside our partners at Kaiser in just five years together, and I know there is even more to come."
The collaboration has committed to providing five new futsal courts per year to schools in the Los Angeles Unified School District, totaling 25 courts by the end of 2023. Julie Miller-Phipps, president, Kaiser Permanente Southern California and Hawaii, Health Plan and Hospitals.
