Lack Returns from Vancouver

The Vancouver Canucks have reassigned goaltender EDDIE LACK to the Chicago Wolves.

LACK backed up the Canucks 5-1 loss to the Chicago Blackhawks Wednesday night after being recalled earlier that morning.

The 23-year-old netminder has notched a 2-3-2 record in seven outings with the Wolves this season. He ranks 12th in the American Hockey League with a 2.24 goals-against average and shares sixth in the league with a .927 save percentage.

The Norrtalje, Sweden, native shared first among AHL rookies and tied for fourth overall in the league with 28 victories and ranked seventh in the circuit with a 2.26 goals-against average in 53 outings with the Manitoba Moose last season. He posted a 28-21-4 record and shared fourth in the league with a .926 save percentage for the Moose during his AHL debut.
