B-Sens Reassign Louie Caporusso and Jack Downing to Elmira

BINGHAMTON, N.Y. - The Binghamton Senators announced today that they have reassigned forwards Louie Caporusso and Jack Downing to the Elmira Jackals of the ECHL.

Caporusso, 22, was first recalled to Binghamton on Nov. 4, making his professional debut that night in the Senators' 3-2 loss to the Rochester Americans. Caporusso has appeared in six games with the B-Sens this season, recording no points.

Prior to his recall, the 5-10, 188-pound center had amassed five points (one goal, four assists) in five games with the Jackals.

Downing, 22, was first recalled to Binghamton on Oct. 18. He has since appeared in 11 games for the B-Sens, recording one point (an assist).

Prior to his recall the 6-3, 200-pound center recorded two assists and added seven penalty minutes in two games with the Jackals.

The B-Sens return to action Friday as they travel to Montreal's Bell Centre to take on the Hamilton Bulldogs. Game time is 7:30 p.m. Fans can listen live on "Binghamton's Classic Hits" BIG 107.5 (WBBI-FM). Voice of the B-Sens Grady Whittenburg will have the call beginning 30 minutes before game time as he hosts Countdown to Faceoff.
