
Lachance Named First Batter of the Week

WINNIPEG, MB - Winnipeg Goldeyes' infielder Kevin Lachance has been named the American Association's Batter of the Week for May 16th-19th.
Lachance was 5-for-7 (.714) during the American Association's opening weekend, helping the Goldeyes to a 3-1 start. The Clifton, Virginia native collected at least one hit in each of his three games played, while seeing time at both shortstop and designated hitter.
The 24-year-old Lachance entered 2019 with a career .368 on-base percentage over his first two professional seasons. Lachance was drafted by the Los Angeles Dodgers in the 10th round in2016 out of the University of Maryland, Baltimore County (Baltimore, Maryland).
