ONTARIO, CA, 2021 - The Agua Caliente Clippers (3-3) suffered their second straight loss to the Oklahoma City Blue (4-3), and third straight overall, by a final of 125-110 on Tuesday night.
LA Clippers assignees Brandon Boston Jr. and Keon Johnson shined in the defeat, combining for nearly half of the team's points. Boston Jr. led the Clippers with 25 points, seven rebounds, four assists, and three steals while Johnson added 21 points, four rebounds, five assists, and two steals.
Oklahoma City's Tre Mann led all scorers with 30 points on an efficient 12-of-17 shooting from the field, knocking down four threes in the process.
The Clippers once again were outplayed by the red-hot Blue, who shot 51.2 percent from the field (41-for-80) and outscored Agua Caliente in each of the first three quarters. The Clippers' cut their deficit down to 12 in the fourth quarter but the Blue responded to seal the game.
Agua Caliente returns to the court after Thanksgiving as they take on the Salt Lake City Stars on Sunday, November 28th. Tip-off is at 3 pm PT at the Toyota Arena in Ontario, CA and can be streamed on NBAGLeague.com.
