EDINBURG, Texas - The Austin Spurs fell to the Rio Grande Valley Vipers by a final score of 134-99 on Wednesday night.

San Antonio Spurs assignee Josh Primo posted 12 points and 3 rebounds. Two-way player Devontae Cacok recorded 17 points, 7 rebounds and 5 steals, and two-way player Joe Wieskamp finished with 14 points and 4 rebounds.

Damyean Dotson put up a team-high 19 points for Austin.

Trevelin Queen led Rio Grande Valley with 27 points. Mfiondu Kabengele (23 points, 10 rebounds) and Josh Christopher (15 points, 11 assists) had double-doubles in the Vipers' win.

The 2021-22 Austin Spurs season is presented by SWBC.

The Austin Spurs will return home on Friday, Nov. 26 to take on the Memphis Hustle at 7:30 p.m. CT at the H-E-B Center at Cedar Park in the team's first Fiesta Night of the season. Players will wear Austin Fiesta Edition uniforms modeled after San Antonio's historic tradition. The game will be broadcast live on nbagleague.com.
