
Laber Selected As Pitcher Of The Week

FARGO, N.D. - Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks LHP Jake Laber has been selected as the American Association Pitcher of the Week by Pointstreak, the official statistician of the league, for the week of June 13-19.
Laber made two starts for the RedHawks last week and was 2-0 with a 1.15 ERA. He pitched 15.2 innings and allowed three runs (two earned) on 12 hits. Laber recorded 11 strikeouts and walked five batters.
On Tuesday, Laber pitched a complete game six-hitter as the RedHawks defeated the Gary SouthShore RailCats 10-1. He then ended the week as the winning pitcher on Sunday afternoon as Fargo-Moorhead defeated the Sioux Falls Pheasants 4-3.
This season, Laber is 5-1 with a 1.50 ERA in eights starts. He is second in the American Association in ERA, innings pitched (54.0) and tied for 5th in wins.
REDHAWKS NOTES.
The Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks have released LHP David Deminsky. In two appearances, Deminsky was 0-0 with a 16.20 ERA in 1.2 innings pitched.
