LA Laker Girls at The Nest Friday and Fukufuji Backpack Giveaway on Sunday for a "Reign Delay"

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. - The Bakersfield Condors return to the Mercy & Memorial Hospitals Home Ice at Rabobank Arena for back-to-back home games on Friday and Sunday. Doors open at 6 p.m., puck drops at 7 p.m. on Friday. Doors open at 5 p.m., puck drops at 6 p.m. on Sunday.

Friday vs. Stockton Thunder:

On Friday night, the Condors welcome the LA Laker Girls to The Nest, sponsored by ABC23, ESPN Radio 1230 and Rio Bravo Country Club. The NBA beauties will perform a routine from center ice and will also be in the Condors Photo Booth, located behind section 111 to take photos with fans and sign autographs.

Prior to the opening face-off, Goodwill Industries will be on the plaza collecting donations for Boxing Day, the Canadian national holiday that traditionally calls for the donating of gently used household items to the less-fortunate the day after Christmas. Goodwill will use the donations to fund its employment and job training programs.

Also on Friday night, all fans in attendance will receive a Condors Player Progression Poster, featuring Condors players who have graduated to the next level, such as Mark Derlago and Connor James. It is also a Classroom Champions Night, sponsored by ABC23, SC Architect and Kern County Firefighters - students from participating schools earn free admission to the night's game for meeting academic goals.

Sunday vs. Ontario Reign:

On Sunday night, the Condors take on the Ontario Reign for the Backpack Giveaway. The first 2,000 young fans, 12-and-under, will receive a Yutaka Fukufuji drawstring jersey backpack, courtesy of KBAK-29, Hot 94.1 and Diamond Technologies. Your young Condors fans can be the envy of all their classmates when they head back to school in January with their cool new backpacks!

Please note this game was originally scheduled for Saturday, Dec. 27. All tickets for that game will be honored on Sunday, Dec. 28.

During the second intermission, one lucky fan will have a shot at winning the Condors one-of-a-kind 2008 Chevy Silverado, complete with Condors customizations on the interior and exterior, courtesy of 3-Way Chevrolet.

Following the game, all Ticket Plan Holders are invited to take the ice and skate with the Condors, with limited skate rental available for $5. Fans can make their way to the ice through the tan doors behind section 109.

Sunday's game will be televised live on Bright House Networks Ch. 21. All televised games will be available on Bakersfield On Demand Cable Ch. 300, starting the following day.

The Condors Front Office will maintain normal business hours of Monday-Friday 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. throughout the holiday season, except for the following days:

Individual game tickets are on sale and may be purchased through the Rabobank Arena Box Office, which is open from 10 a.m. - 6 p.m. Monday through Friday and Saturday beginning at 10 a.m. with extended hours on game days.
