
Checkers Agree to Terms with Brad Ralph

CHARLOTTE, N.C. - Charlotte Checkers head coach and general manager Derek Wilkinson announced today that the team has agreed to terms with forward Brad Ralph.
Ralph, 6-foot-2, 190 pounds, was selected during the second round of the 1999 National Hockey League Entry Draft by the Phoenix Coyotes and suited up in one game for the team during the 2000-01 season. Ralph played his previous three seasons with the Columbia Inferno. During that time, he suited up in 194 games scoring 65 goals and 90 assists for 155 points with 241 penalty minutes. Last seasons point totals with the Inferno ranked him third in team scoring with 18 goals and 31 assists for 49 points with 73 penalty minutes in 66 games.
The Checkers are playing in their 16th season of play as a member of the ECHL. The next home game will take place on Dec. 28th against the Florida Everblades at 4:00 p.m.
