Additionally, the Galaxy have signed defender Josh Drack to a short-term loan from USL Championship affiliate LA Galaxy II under Extreme Hardship.
"Daniel is a talented midfielder who has made a positive impact during his time with LA Galaxy II and he has been rewarded with a first-team contract," said LA Galaxy General Manager Dennis te Kloese. "He made a good impression in preseason and is a player that can play in multiple positions. We are excited to see him contribute with the Galaxy and to continue his personal and professional growth within our organization."
Aguirre, 22, signed with Los Dos on April 7, 2021. Drack, 21, was originally selected by the LA Galaxy with the 16th overall pick in the first round of the 2021 MLS SuperDraft. After signing with Los Dos on April 26, Drack has tallied one goal and a team-high three assists in 13 games played (12 starts) for Galaxy II during the 2021 USL Championship regular season.
"Josh is a talented player who has performed well for Galaxy II this season and will provide cover in defense," said Te Kloese.

Prior to playing at the University of Denver, Drack played at Grand Canyon University from 2017-18, tallying six goals and adding seven assists, and was named the 2017 Western Athletic Conference Freshman of the Year.
Drack graduated from Hamilton High School in 2017, where he recorded 65 goals and 32 assists in two seasons while captaining the Huskies.
