LA Galaxy Sign Goalkeeper Trey Mitchell

CARSON, Calif. (Friday, March 27, 2015) - LA Galaxy have signed goalkeeper Trey Mitchell, the club announced today. Per MLS and club policy, terms of the deal were not disclosed.

"Trey is a talented goalkeeper who can provide us with solid depth," said LA Galaxy Head Coach and General Manager Bruce Arena. "We are happy to add him to our roster and look forward to his contributions as a member of our team."

Mitchell began his college career at Citrus College, where he recorded 97 saves with a 1.30 goals against average in his first two seasons before transferring to Cal State Dominguez Hills. After redshirting in 2012, he played the following two seasons for CSUDH, making 20 starts and recording 71 saves for a .85 goals against average, the fourth best in school history.

Mitchell, a product of Alta Loma, California, attended Alta Loma High School.
