
LA Galaxy ready to begin 2019 MLS campaign with Home Opener against Chicago Fire on Saturday, March 2 at 5 p.m. PT on FS1

LOS ANGELES (Monday, Feb. 25, 2019) - The LA Galaxy will begin their 24th season in MLS with the 2019 Home Opener against Chicago Fire on Saturday, March 2 at 5 p.m. PT at Dignity Health Sports Park (FS1, Fox Deportes). Tickets to that match are on sale now, available here.
Beginning Monday, it's #Since96 Week in Los Angeles, with the club putting on a week of programming in anticipation for the LA Galaxy's 2019 Home Opener. This week, the LA Galaxy will light the Pacific Wheel at Santa Monica Pier, open a new community soccer field and debut a David Beckham mural in Downtown Los Angeles, host meet and greets with LA Galaxy stars Romain Alessandrini and Ola Kamara, and much more.
The build to Saturday's kickoff will culminate with the unveiling of the David Beckham statue at Legends Plaza outside Dignity Health Sports Park on Saturday, March 2 at 2:30 p.m. PT. Fans are encouraged to arrive to Legends Plaza by 2 p.m. PT.

Over the weekend, the LA Galaxy fell 3-1 to Colorado Rapids in their final preseason test of 2019. Zlatan Ibrahimovic scored the Galaxy's only goal, with newcomer Uriel Antuna providing the assist.
