- The LA Galaxy fell to LAFC 5-3 on the road Thursday evening at Banc of California Stadium in the Western Conference Semifinals.
- With the result, LA are eliminated Audi 2019 MLS Cup Playoffs.
- The LA Galaxy are now 2-1-3 all-time against LAFC.
- During the regular season, LA went 5-10-2 with 22 goals scored and 34 conceded on the road and finished 1-1-0 in postseason, with five goals scored and six conceded.
- The Galaxy finished the year 14-2-1 when scoring the game's opening goal, and 3-14-1 when conceding first.
- When leading at halftime this season, LA went 7-2-1. They were 10-4-2 when tied at halftime and 0-10-0 when trailing at halftime.
- In 24 seasons, this is the 19th time in club history that the LA Galaxy took part in postseason play.
- In all, the club holds a 45-23-7 playoff record with an league-best five MLS Cup victories.
- Their 45 playoff wins are the most of any team in MLS.
