CARSON, Calif. (Monday, July 20, 2015) - The LA Galaxy will play in two matches this week, beginning Tuesday, July 21 when they take on FC Barcelona at the Rose Bowl Stadium in the 2015 International Champions Cup (8 p.m. PT, Fox Sports 1). The Galaxy will then travel for an MLS Regular Season match against Houston Dynamo Saturday, July 25 at BBVA Compass Stadium live on Time Warner Cable SportsNet and Time Warner Cable Deportes at 6 p.m. PT. LA Galaxy II will travel for a match Sunday, July 26 at 7 p.m. PT against Portland Timbers FC 2 at Merlo Field.

The Galaxy's match Tuesday against Barcelona will mark their second game in this year's International Champions Cup. They defeated Club América 2-1 on July 11 to take first place in the tournament's group standings. In 2013, LA finished fourth in the tournament that featured Real Madrid, Juventus, Chelsea, Inter Milan, AC Milan, Valencia and Everton, highlighted by a 3-1 victory over Juventus at Dodgers Stadium.

The Galaxy (9-6-7, 34 points) have earned a 7-8-5 record against Houston all time, scoring 20 goals. Saturday's game will mark the third and final time the Galaxy face off against the Dynamo during the regular season, with LA going 1-0-1 in the previous two matches at StubHub Center. The Galaxy earned a 1-1 draw behind a goal from forward Robbie Keane on March 21 and recorded a 1-0 victory over the Dynamo on May 22 behind a stoppage-time goal from Alan Gordon.

The LA Galaxy have scored 36 goals on the season, the most of any team in MLS, with an MLS-best +11 goal differential. The team has won four of its last five games, outscoring opponents 20 to three during that span for a +17 goal differential. They are currently second in the Western Conference standings and in third place in Supporters Shield standings. The Galaxy defeated the San Jose Earthquakes 5-2 Friday at StubHub Center behind a hat trick from Robbie Keane and goals from Steven Gerrard and Sebastian Lletget.

The Galaxy are currently without five players, as Omar Gonzalez (USA), Alan Gordon (USA), Gyasi Zardes (USA), Jaime Penedo (Panama) and Giovani dos Santos (Mexico) are all on international duty at the 2015 CONCACAF Gold Cup and will be unavailable for selection Tuesday, July 21 against FC Barcelona. Both Gold Cup semifinal matches take place Wednesday, July 22 before the final on July 26.
