LOS ANGELES - Beginning their Leagues Cup 2023 campaign, the LA Galaxy play host to LIGA MX side Club León at Dignity Health Sports Park on Wednesday, July 26 (7:30 p.m. PT; MLS Season Pass on Apple TV, LA Galaxy Radio).
The Galaxy enter the Leagues Cup match against Club León on Tuesday, July 25, holding a 3-1-4 record (15 GF, 13 GA) in their last eight MLS regular-season matches played dating back to May 31. In LA's last six matches played at home across all competitions dating back to May 10, the clubs holds a 4-1-1 record (12 GF, 7 GA). Notably, Riqui Puig, a 2023 MLS All-Star, has tallied two goals and six assists in eight league matches played for LA dating back to May 31. Club León enter the match against the Galaxy following a 2-2 draw in regulation and a 16-15 penalty-kick win over Vancouver Whitecaps FC at BC Place on July 21.
