Owen Sound Attack News Release
The Owen Sound Attack has announced that sophomore defenseman Jack Kuzmyk has been traded to the Sarnia Sting for a 6th round draft choice in 2011 and a conditional draft choice 2013.
Kuzmyk, a 6'02, 210lb rearguard played in 59 games for the Attack last season, registering five assists and a -1 rating to go along with eight penalty minutes. A bout with mono has limited Jack to only seven games this season and a surplus of young defenseman has prompted this move. "Our organization wishes Jack nothing but the best in Sarnia.", stated Attack GM Dale DeGray. "Jack is a great teammate and is a model citizen and student off the ice."
Kuzmyk's departure leaves the Attack with eight defenseman on their active roster. The Attack is back in action this Saturday at 2:00pm when they play host to the Ottawa 67's.
