
Kuhn Slides into Player of the Month Honours

Monday, June 2, 2014 The Winnipeg Goldeyes announced today that the infielder Tyler Kuhn has been named the ZEV Custom Apparel Goldeyes Player of the Month for May.
Kuhn, 27, led the Goldeyes with a .389 batting average in May, which ranked third-best in the American Association. He was also tied for the American Association lead in hits with 28 and had a .429 on-base percentage. He proved his worth at the top of the order with a .375 average to lead off an inning and also drove in six runs with a .389 average with runners in scoring position.
In the field, Kuhn had a .955 fielding percentage playing all 16 games at shortstop and helped turn nine double plays.
For his efforts, Kuhn will receive a custom-fitted suit from ZEV Custom Apparel.
The Goldeyes begin a seven-game road trip with the first of four games against the Sioux Falls Canaries tonight in South Dakota. The pre-game show on Jewel 101 begins with Steve Schuster begins at 6:30 p.m.
