Bakersfield Condors News Release

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. - The Bakersfield Condors, official ECHL affiliate of the Anaheim Ducks, announced today six roster changes, starting with the recall of C Charlie Kronschnabel by the Iowa Chops (AHL). Additionally, the Condors have activated C Dave Bonk from the 30-IR, signed F Eric Ehn and made three other Injured Reserve changes, as announced by Head Coach Marty Raymond.

Kronschnabel, 25, has skated in all 27 Condors games this season, tallying eight points (2g-6a) and 21 penalty minutes. The Mendota Heights, Minnesota, native was reassigned to Bakersfield from Iowa during training camp, and now becomes the fifth Condor to be recalled to the American Hockey League, joining F Matt Caruana, G Dave McKee and D Andrew Thomas on the Chops, and LW Mark Derlago, who is currently skating with the Manitoba Moose.

Ehn, 24, made his professional debut with the Condors on Nov. 29 against Idaho before returning to Vandenberg AFB on the California Central Coast. He played four seasons with the Air Force Academy Falcons, leading the team in scoring as a sophomore and junior. His 64 points during his junior season (2006-07) ranked second in the nation, and earned him First Team All-Conference and the Atlantic Hockey Association Player of the Year honors. C Dave Bonk (30-IR) and C Brett Pilkington (7-IR) were both activated from the IR today. Bonk returns to the lineup tonight against Stockton for the first time since Nov. 21. Despite missing 12 games, he remains fourth on the club with 16 points (6g-10a) in 15 games and is the team's leading scorer against the Thunder this season with 6 points (2g-4a) in three games.

RW Liam Huculak was transferred to the 7-IR today, although is eligible to be activated. RW Jason Bailey was placed on the 3-IR today and will be eligible to be activated on Dec. 29, while LW Bobby Bolt remains on the 30-IR and will be eligible to be activated on Dec. 30.
