Kris Foucault Leads Calgary Hitmen To 7-2 Win Over Red Deer Rebels

Calgary, AB - The Calgary Hitmen won their second game in a row Friday night beating the Rebels 7-2 in Red Deer.

Kris Foucault (pronounced FOO-coe) led the Hitmen scoring attack with a pair of goals (2g 1a) while Keith Seabrook, Brett Sonne, Alex Plante, Kyle Bortis and Carson McMillan added singles. Brandon Kozun chipped in three assists.

The win improves Calgary's Western Hockey League leading record to 41-7-2-1. At 85 points, the Hitmen hold a four point lead over Vancouver in the race for first overall.

Martin Jones made 22 saves in the Hitmen net to record his WHL leading 30th victory of the season.

Calgary returns to action on Sunday to host Canadian World Juniors Jordan Eberle, Colton Tuebert and the Regina Pats. Game time is 2:00 at the Pengrowth Saddledome.
