Fort Wayne, IN - The Komets split the two games played for the week to remain in a first place tie in the IHL. The Komets improved to 4-2-0-0 for eight points and share the top spot with Port Huron and Bloomington after three weeks of 2009-10.
Friday night the Komets suffered their second loss of the season 5-4 at Bloomington.
