Komets Return Home to Host Rapid City Wednesday; O'Connor Suspended

Fort Wayne, IN. -- The CHL Turner Conference semifinal series between the Komets and the Rapid City Rush continues this Wednesday in Fort Wayne when the Komets face the Rush for game 3 at 7:30pm.

The Komets trail the best-of-five series 2-0 after dropping games 1 and 2 Friday and Saturday at Rapid City. Friday the Komets dropped a 5-2 decision and Saturday suffered a 4-3 setback.

Game 4 will be held Friday in Fort Wayne at the Coliseum at 8pm if necessary. Game 5, if needed, will be held at Rapid City Sunday at 8:05pm ET.

O'Connor suspended indefinitely -- Right wing Sean O'Connor has been suspended indefinitely by the CHL as a result of an incident in game 2 at Rapid City Saturday, April 16. O'Connor will be unable to participate this Wednesday when the Komets host Rapid City at 7:30pm. Final determination of the number of games suspended will be made later.
